Meet Vanish: Finding HACC Changed His Life

“I know everybody wants to go to a university to get the degree, but let me tell you going to HACC or any community college is never a bad option.”

Vanish Amin was the first person in his family to go to college in the United States. He said that he and his family heard that college in the U.S. is expensive. They weren’t wrong. Fortunately, Vanish came across HACC and said it changed his life. He was able to take college classes for two years while working, which allowed him to earn some money and pay for future tuition at another university.

Vanish said that at HACC, “You get everything that you would get at the university at the lower cost. This will also help your parents to worry less about how to pay for your college, and they won’t have to sacrifice everything.”

In addition to the significant savings, there was plenty that Vanish liked about HACC. “The faculty members and employees are there to motivate you on every step of the way. They are willing to work with you to get what you really need for your major or for any other necessities.”

He added, “I feel like the community outreach and always helping people in need has been the motto for HACC. I feel like that’s the good way to stay close to community and work with the people.”

With his general studies college credits from HACC, Vanish is ready to do just about anything.
