HACC's Theatre for Young People offers a day to explore musicals

Important HACC Announcement:

Greetings.

Please note the following important announcement:

The College received a report of Clostridioides difficile (C. diff) at the Lancaster Campus on July 7, 2025.
The areas involved include the library, Learning Commons and tutoring center.
These areas will be closed on July 8, 2025, for disinfection. HACC will use Moon Beam3 UV machines to disinfect and follow up with an approved EPA product for disinfection.
The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) recommends the following to prevent further spread of C. diff:
1. Washing your hands with soap and water
2. Cleaning and disinfecting surfaces

The next broadway star? Dancer? Singer? How about the local school musical? Children ages ten to 17 are invited to a day of exploring musical theatre and their artistic talents at Musical Theatre Day, presented by HACC's Theatre for Young People. The workshop is scheduled for Saturday, February 24 from 10am to 2:30pm at Theatre Harrisburg's Production Center at 6th and Hurlock Streets in Harrisburg.

Students, grouped by age, will rotate through different workshops in acting/improvisation, musical theatre dancing, and singing. All skill levels are welcome to learn the importance of becoming a triple threat in the world of theatre!
